Joint Artwork:
We were hesitant to purchase this because there are fake Utena sketches floating around but we have what we know is a genuine signed Utena poster from the same con and the signature compositions are very similar and after talking to the original owner and comparing the signatures in person we feel confident about this beautiful piece.
According to the original owner: "The sketch was first done in pencil, then a Black Sharpie. I received this sketch at Animazement 2000 on March 9th, a day before the convention started. I was working as staff that year, there was a party for the staff and Guests that night. Chiho Saito did the sketch of Utena, then Kunihiko Ikuhara added Chu-Chu. Chiho then went over the pencil lines with a Black Sharpie. After that they both signed it."
